Oil splatter screen – foldable handle or fixed?
Trying to decide between oil splatter screens with foldable handles (for storage) and fixed ones. Are foldable ones less sturdy or do good ones hold up well?

Good foldable ones are just as sturdy – the hinge is usually solid metal and locks firmly when open. Mine folds flat against the mesh for drawer storage, but feels rigid and stable in use – no wobbling or loosening after a year.
